The UGA en France program was created in 2004. Since then, nearly 150 students have participated in the summer session in Montpellier, France.
The program has evolved over the course of its nine year history. In the early years, students performed volunteer work as a part of the summer program and took six additional credit hours. Our summers are now divided into two short sessions, with a Paris visit between the two, and students now take twelve credit hours of courses while in France.
Beginning in the fall of 2012, UGA en France also began offering a semester-long program. This fall program is much like our summer offering in terms of its richness and course variety!
